Little Bears

A spacious room which invites the Little Bears to explore using all senses. We understand that emotional and physical nourishment, sensory stimulation and sleep are more important in babyhood than any other time. The resources available in the little bear room, paired with tuned in practitioners ensures that the little Carebears get the very most out of the first stage of nursery life.

Explorer Bears room

We have created a truly enabling environment in which our Explorer Bears can relax, play, and learn. The layout of our Explorer Bear room helps them to gain a sense of independence as they access materials, set up experiences and pack away ‘’all by myself’. Joining in with the Adventure Bears during some learning experiences helps them to get ready for their transition into the Adventure Bear room and prepares them for the journey on to the curriculum for excellence.

Adventure Bears.

The Adventure Bears room is split over two levels, up the stairs has literacy, numeracy, role play and loose part experiences , down the stairs has lots of spaces for messy and creative play, including art, sand and water. Tailor planned lessons combined with active learning through play provides the perfect mix of experiences to support them on their journey to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens, and effective contributors, which links in with the curriculum for excellence.

Breakfast and afterschool club

This room was designed around the ideas of our busy school goers. They wanted somewhere to relax, play, read and chat about their day at school. They have access to their own resources within their own room in the nursery setting and they love to explore the outdoor areas and local park.
